Groove Alert is a six piece band from New York City that'll get you movin' to the beat of some blistering Funk, Soul and Rhythm&Blues.  We play music by a variety of artists including The Commodores, Stevie Wonder, Prince, Michael Jackson, Hot Chocolate, The Rolling Stones, Delbert McClinton, Buddy Miles, and many more.  We gonna make you move yo' feet!
